One Million Jordanian Coders Initiative seeks to produce skilled coding experts-say its managers

Amman, August 18 (Petra)

--The One Million Jordanian Coders Initiative team announced registration is still open to interested candidates to facilitate access to coding language professionally and freely.

Speaking to "Petra" on Wednesday, the team said the initiative aims to enhance capabilities of Jordanian youth's skills necessary to keep pace with the rapid changes in the technology world, and enter the local and global labor markets.

Coding training would contribute to creating "positive" change on both personal and practical levels for beneficiaries by focusing on the highest areas of demand in the software industry, the team said.

The initiative, which is implemented by the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, also provides free online training programs in the coding field in Arabic aimed to offer the opportunity to the "largest" number to benefit from digital innovation services, according to the team.
